I am tired of hearing people's behaviors when they realize that I am Deaf. They immediately shut themselves down. I had to write every note and to let them know it was very rude and their prejudiced behaviors were obvious to be noticed. One day, I decided to do something different approach. I went to BEBE's store to buy clothes and I faced the same problem. I wrote a note and asked if she can hear. She was like yeah. I gasped and said, "I am so sorry. Must be hard on you..." She finally got it. Maybe you should try this and see what a hearing person's reaction. What do you think?

National Association of the Deaf (NAD) divorced ASL... and Deaf people. The Leadership at NAD needs to make a big change in its philosophy. Some recent presidents of NAD "abused" the title that gave them the appearance of responsibility and acted with arrogance. They let ASL DRIFT AWAY from Deaf education. The quality of our education in Deaf community is already at risk due to their lack of leadership. I feel Dr. Laurene Simms will make a difference in our community if she'll run as a President in 2008-2010 at NAD. She is not afraid of showing who she is and her beliefs. She stands by her beliefs and will not give them what they want to hear/want. She knows that SOCIAL JUSTICE is a hard work to maintain in the society from this level to advanced level. She knows how to work the range from ignorant people to educated people. She has a talent in communicating with ignorant organization or people and bringing them to better understanding level about Diverse Deaf community/culture and Diverse Deaf identity. Please do not give up a membership at NAD. We need each other to voice and to push NAD to get back the original mission and work together toward to new mission that work with diverse groups in Deaf community. We need to demand NAD to be viewed as cultural model. Don't give up and Be PERSISTENCE with our mission at NAD. Be creative!!!

Comment Makers of The cage/DeafVideo.TV
I wanted to thank comment makers for their time and their comments about my ASL LYRIC: The Cage. I have decided to produce a video, “the Cage”, through Computer Generated Imagery. I showed a very brief demo what the video would look like in CGI. I also am thrilled that Tayler Mayer took an action and set up the website, DeafVideo.TV. It is perfect for the marketing to the mass audience. I look forward to seeing more videos that make by Deaf people from home to professional video. Tayler Mayer is one of the perfect examples that he took our discussion into an action. We need to see that more often in Deaf community.
MY PRODUCTION NOTE FOR THE CAGE:
Doing the Chrome Key is very challenging for me. It is all new to me. I am putting my energy into mastering it. Right now I am working on it during the production in a 10 x 10 foot room. I will need a subject to be 10 feet away from the green key in order to avoid a shadow so as to make the image as precise as possible. The camera will need to be three feet away from a subject. The critical problem is that I want a full shot of a subject walking, which would necessitate moving the camera back at least 4 to 6 feet more. But there is no room left to shoot. I use top lighting that illuminates the space in strong tungsten. There are three bulbs on a pole but these cause a double shadow and cast a strong blue light.
In Post-Production, I kept having a difficult time removing all the green and the highlights. I work on After Effects and Final Cuts Pro. I wonder if there is any specific software that focuses on removing the blue and/or green Chrome Key.

COUNTRY SIGNS/ THE ETHNICS of "EMBRYO DESIGN"
In a response to NOAH and KIM about country signs, not all African are black. Not all culture and Languages are based on their skins or human features. It is important that we compromise with other countries and at the same time we keep our ASL. In the future, we will design our embryo. Of course almost all hearing parents and some Deaf parents find out that their embryo are Deaf, then they would add the hearing cells on their embryo. But wait... We can design our babies by adding Deaf cells on it. My dream is to produce more Deaf babies as possible. Deaf people and Deaf community are beautiful! We need to encourage Deaf scientists to find a way to produce Deaf babies.
ASLMTV "THE CAGE" (First draft Movie)
I ask you as audience please give me feedback with courtesy as possible. This is a first draft movie. I will reshoot this video this summer with the inputs that I'll receive in consideration and will add the music in it. Yes, it has subtitle. :o)
