ABC, ASLPRIDE, and VLOGGERS/BLOGGERS

A special thanks to ABC and ASLPRIDE for bringing up an excellent point about nasty anonymous. Don't give up if not many people reply to VLOG or Blog. Karen Mayes, Iamine, and everyone else have so much offer to Deaf Read. Don't let these roaches (the nasty anonymous) take a control.

REFLECTION ON MY VLOG ABOUT MY ACTING THAT REPRESENTED THE WORD "HEARING LOSS"

Meryl Streep and Kevin Kline who were directed by Alan J. Pakula of "Spohia's choice, the director, and producer visted at my school for Q&A event. Three of people called one of reviewers a RETARDED for insulting Kevin that he wouldn't be success in film world. I discussed if it was because of Gender? People didn’t react to ABC for act like this because he was a man? “BOYS ARE BOYS.” Are we as women expected to be act like ladylike and feminine? If we don’t act like this then we would be backlash? Here is ABC's Video about copying me: http://my.videoegg.com/video/dMpWWB

THE CAGE

Counting Years Into The Future
All DEAF Empires Gone
Existence Is Obscure
Hearing society rules the DEAF land and wipes it out.
DEAF of the underground is the hope of the world.
The Invaders take away DEAF people's American Sign Language.

Dark mountains in the sky
From ashes the DEAF will rise from oblivion of New Deaf Order
Black towers scar the sky
DEAF people will forever fight
DEAF people are dreamers of DEAF land.

Machine control is the object of hearingkind
A vision is lost to DEAF land
DEAF people are stuck in the wasteland and fight for the DEAF's lives

While the killing machine moves on and infects the Deaf community
They force DEAF people into animals’ cages so the DEAF can turn on each other and forget DEAF people's common DEAF roots

Hearingkind forces a violent world into DEAF people's hands
DEAF people put each other in a cage within a cage
The Invaders take away the DEAF's American Sign Language

Towers of fire and mechanical rage take away DEAF pride and DEAF community
DEAF people are lost in the machine slipping into rivers of black and deserts of ice

Lifting far away
Escape no way…
They trap DEAF people and feed the DEAF hate for each other

They can’t make DEAF people become a puppet.
But they can trap DEAF people
They’ll have to clip the DEAF's American Sign Language like a bird’s wing
‘Cause DEAF people will soar like hawks when they fly
And DEAF people will fight with hearts of eagles unquenchable in the DEAF's pride
Sisters and Brothers of the Wind United with wings outspread over a land that can’t hear the DEAF's cry

ASL Storytelling: “Tsunami is coming to Deaf Community”

Tsunami will hit Deaf community within 8 to 11 years. Our tsunami is moving very slow but will be coming very soon than we thought. I share my ASL story about "Tsunami" with you. I also have a short clip in end to honor VT students and professors.

Fast-Paced Multimedia Information Acquisition

I got some comments that they felt it was too much for them to watch me signing at the same time doing some special effects on the background. Well, I have a concern for Deaf community about their abilities of catching up the fast-paced technology. Next Generation, hearing children’s receptiveness will be able to acquire the information through fast-paced multimedia information. Deaf children and people will need to catch up with their receptive abilities or they will be a way behind in technology world.

LAWRENCE HOTT and DIANE GAREY

I went to a discussing and presenting selections from Through Deaf Eyes. I met with Lawrence Hott and Diane Garey. They were wonderful people with warming hearts. Deaf people complain but never take action. Why didn't Deaf people do something by making movies? They had 200 years to get an opportunity and to make films. They have access to video equipment. Gallaudet University has a beautiful Studio in TV department. They chose to be apathy. Gallaudet University offered to Hott and he took it with cautious. He demanded to have Deaf advisors involved in this production so they could give him advices. Gallaudet University told Hott there were no experienced Deaf producers out there. EXCUSE ME! Talent Deaf Filmmakers don't go to Gallaudet University. We go to BEST FILM SCHOOLS. It wasn’t Hott’s fault. SHAME ON GALLAUDET UNIVERSITY FOR MISINFORMING HOTT THAT THERE WEREN'T TALENT AND EXPERIENCED DEAF FILMMAKERS OUT THERE THAT COULD WORK WITH HIM AS CO PRODUCER. Experienced Filmmakers are Jackie Roth, CJ Jones, Ann Marie “JADE”, and Many more… I will be on Temporary Leave of Absence and focus on my exams and final film projects. *Tearing* I will be back shortly before you know it.

CONGRATS/I AM GLAD I AM ORAL FAILURE/JOHN EGBERT

Congrats to BEG and BARB... Despite being oral failure, I couldn’t trade my life for anything. It’s because I am a Filmmaker, and I work with so many people in Hollywood. I met/meet many wonderful Deaf people. I am proactive in Deaf community. I overcame so many obstacles in my life. I am glad that I was determined to use my hands and I was a renegade. “Failure is nature's plan to prepare you for great responsibilities”
I appreciate that John Egbert recognizing the system was using him a model as oral success that harm many Deaf children. He is a great man with a great heart. It wasn't his fault. It's THE SYSTEM.
FYI: I am having a problem with my e mails. I was able to receive people's e mails. I couldn't reply back to them because they keep coming back to me. Please bear with me. I am working on it. Thank you so much..

Teen at Mainstream High School/ Interpreting Agency: Warm Body Syndrome

It is common for Most Agencies charge the business the "flat" fee for using interpreters but doesn't matter how high or low qualification level of interpreters were. However after the agency get a check from business or any clients which it costs 80 dollars per hour for example, they would budget this check and the agencies would pay more to experienced interpreters than inexperienced interpreters. They would lose 55 dollars. The experienced interpreter would charge maybe around 75 per hour, and inexperience interpreter would charge maybe 25 per hour. Some agencies would take advantage by placing the inexperienced interpreters so they would make 55 dollars for a profit.
It is ok for us to discuss. I have been researching and working with interpreters for a long time. I even interviewed many people. I refused the name the agencies. This vlog is a room for people to recognize and to improve our system. We deserve to have qualified interpreters. It is human service and should not be taken it advantage. I know some agencies are very honest and decent.

"We have found that most head teachers and staff have shared our values and philosophy, and agreed that all children have a right to grow up, loved and accepted in their local community regardless of disability. They have been happy to accept our children, with appropriate non teaching assistance, and every mainstream placement is a success." That s what the Mainstream program want the parents to think they are our life saver... The attitude I receive from our teachers and director that we were one of fortunate people that we are much higher than a resident school. Yeah! Right! We had to become survivors through the systems.

A Proposal to NAD/HOWARD E. "ROCKY" STONE, A SHHH FOUNDER

PROPOSAL: FIRST DRAFT
The National Association of the Deaf (NAD) is an organization dedicated to the promulgation of culturo-linguistic model for the Deaf-Centered. NAD’s mission is to open the world of communication to Deaf people in all their diversity, inclusively, through education, advocacy, and support. NAD promotes and encourages Late-Deafened people or Deaf people who were never exposed to the Deaf community to seek support services, and works to elevate and empower them from a pathological to a cultural level. NAD develops a network of chapters of the Deaf affiliated with every State Association of the Deaf while also working very closely with NAD. These chapters provide the services necessary for Deaf people –inclusively- to reclaim their lives as fully equal human beings, emancipated from a disempowering pathological/disability model, with entitlement to full citizenships. NAD joins forces with other powerful cultural movements and industries dedicated collectively to not just denouncing social and political discrimination, but making it impossible. Written By Aidan Mack

Howard E. "Rocky" Stone thought there was no service for Hard of Hearing people so he decided to set up SHHH Organization in 1979 is now called Hearing Loss Association of America. He never knew about NAD. What happened if he had gone to NAD. The Advanced International Affairs wouldn't allow him to take Oral Exams due to his hearing loss. it's too bad that he had to gave up his dream which he shouldn't had at first place. If he had known his rights as Deaf person and gone to NAD, he would had passed Oral exams. I wondered why Rocky overlooked NAD.

What Kind of A Leader We Want at NAD?/Can You Understand Us?

2:14 min: LaRonda wrote a beautiful article on her Blog about her experience as Late-Deafened person. We, Deaf people, understood people who lose their hearing at later age. Can they understand us as Deaf people with a big D? I discussed what kind of a leader we want at NAD, Conformism vs. Entrepreneurship, Identity vs Role Confusion, Confidence vs. Arrogance, Integrity vs. Manipulation Anesthetic. It's important for a leader from NAD to hit on the road and to visit every school as possible.
3:06 min: PART TWO... I promise you the next vlogs will be about Teen at Mainstream and Interpreting Agency:Warm Body Syndrome.

National Association of the DEAF: Part one and two

I offered my apology to Bobbie for my approach but not my objection about her using hearing loss. I wanted to become a team maker for NAD's sake. We must remind Bobbie, the President of NAD, that NAD is not based on Medical View. We have some organizations that are focused on medical views, which are Hearing Loss Organization (SHH) and AGB. We make sure NAD will not turn into a medical view. NAD must remain based on a cultural view. We welcome Deaf people with different backgrounds and guide them becoming Deaf. Hearing Loss rejects Deaf people who have never been hearing.

2:15 minutes 1. NAD and Its MIssion 2. Chaired By Edwin Booth and 1st President Robert Mcgregor's the Statement of Intent. 3. "My Fear: NAD will become a medical view" 4. "I have never been hearing"
