I felt it was nothing wrong that I came from the hearing family. I have no regret having them as my family who are hearing. I have many good memories with them, especially with my two sisters. I wonder if we are made of bi bi cultures that are hearing culture and Deaf culture. CODA is a bi bi culture because they were the child or children of Deaf family and they were exposed to hearing world at her/his school and her/his hearing friends. Some Deaf purists feel uneasy that we were a product of the hearing family. I got a feeling that some of them look us as a half Deaf. It is like Aristotle believed that women are half men because our privacy areas werent expand big enough to be a fully man. In my opinion, he is an interesting but nuts thinker.

Respond to Iammine
I discussed about the idea of the cochlear implant and a person with cochlear implant. In the past, I felt uncomfortable to be around people with cochlear implant until I met a new friend and she changed my view on the person with the cochlear implant and the idea of the cochlear implant. I also discussed why I feel uncomfortable the idea of cochlear implant. I also asked Deaf people with cochlear implant to understand our feelings but they are not required to agree with us. Let's agree with disagree with mutual respect. I also made a briefly comment about Jay in the end.
